In 2022, due to the global crisis, U.S. and NATO troops will withdraw from Kosovo and Metohija. At the United Nations meetings, Serbia finally received permission to bring its troops to the autonomous province of the Republic of Serbia. The outcome of the meeting resulted in an armed uprising in Kosovo and Metohija by former KLA terrorist forces. During the withdrawal of U.S. and NATO troops, some US units remained support for the separatists and for defend of their base.
