BACKGROUND:

After the invasion of NATO forces in Takistan and removal from power of Colonel Azis in the country was installed pro-Western government, and the country itself is divided into zones controlled by the contingents of different countries. The mountainous region of Sar-e Sang was assigned to a contingent of the French Armed Forces. Due to the low intensity of enemy activities from the invasion in 2012 until today, the number of French soldiers has been reduced, and the province itself has been left to TNA (Takistan National Army), so only one company of the French Foreign Legion is currently engaged in this region.

The French politicians took advantage of the presence of their forces in this area. Through them, they exerted influence on local authorities, and bought local companies for small prices and, as the most important resource, oil fields. One of these people is Jacques Pompidou, who appropriated 90% of oil wells from the entire province in a period of one year. Due to great poverty and unemployment, Pompidou takes advantage of the situation and reduces the income of his workers, which leads to great dissatisfaction because they are conditioned to work for him by the impossibility of finding another job. After several strikes by workers for which the owner had no hearing, there were several sabotages of the wells themselves, after which Pompidou hired private security for himself and his oil fields. This causes even greater dissatisfaction among workers and leads to an armed uprising in the region. Under the leadership of Imam Abaz Zahori.

During the month of May, Jacques Pompidou went on a tour of his oil fields near the village of Kandahar, where the presence of mujahedin was not recorded. On the way to the wells, a convoy of mercenaries who secured Pompidou falls into an ambush of the mujahedin who kidnap him and demand a huge sum for his ransom, the departure of the mercenaries and the improvement of working conditions.

The French public is scandalized and places the responsibility for the current events on the French Army, which did not protect its citizen in the province it secures, and the unit engaged in the province was given the task to urgently find Pompidou and deal with the mujahideen.
OPERATION:

Due to good relations with the population in the province, the French soldiers managed to get in touch with the head of the village of Kandahar, who promised information about the possible location of Jacques Pompidou for the food and water supplies that our unit should deliver to them. Since the mujahedin took control of all road communications and mined most of them, we were also assigned a department of engineers who needed to clear the road in order to be able to transport supplies to the village itself. After retrieving the information, the unit must locate Jacques Pompidou and return him safely to the TNA database. If the unit encounters the leader of the mujahideen, he must be liquidated.

SITUATION:

Our forces:
We play as a unit of the French Foreign Legion which is deployed in the area of the provincial capital to secure vital facilities.

- Armed Humvees and Land Rovers (1 per squad)

- 1 HEMIT truck for transporting supplies
- 1 Humvee for transporting explosives and ammo.

Mujahideen under the command of Abaz Zahori .

Light infantry weapons of American and Russian production.

-They have a large number of improvised armed light vehicles.

Mountain landscape, dotted with low vegetation and rocks. The weather is clear and sunny.

Civilian population is present in Kandahar village.

- Deliver a truck with supplies to the mosque of the village of Kandahar.

- Locate and securely carry Pompidou to the TNA base.

- Locate and kill the leader of the mujahideen.
