Is the summer of 1944, our 2^nd Air Bomber Wing(Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress)was ordered to take off immediately to prevent the departure of a German Battleship that had just completed its repairs.

We will not fly in the right direction so as to avoid as much as possible hostile Fighters.

In our planes we have loaded simple bombs but also High explosives bombs.

If we fail to Destroy it by the first pass we will do a second,of course our second pass will be much more dangerous as all the anti-aircraft defenses will be on alert.

After the second pass we will return to our base that we will immediately supply ammunition and fuel and start for the second Mission.

The second objective will be to destroy the ammunition factory for German aircraft located north east of the naval base.

We will follow a similar path north and then west and if necessary we will make two passes and here.

Mission is very duficult as all the local German Air Force will be involved in our hunt.

Our losses in that area last month were 40%.
