Japanese 114th Regiment have captured the eastern area of the region. The only strong point that they have not captured is Mission Ridge Hill. LtGn Tomitaro Horii has sent his veteran forces to attack this strongpoint

Allied HQ have decided to help a Papua infantry unit keep the hill with the 39th Australian Battalion, and if is possible make a counter attack against the Japanese FOB to the South. Our Mission is to assist the Papua infantry unit keep Mission Ridge until 13.00 and then launch a combined attack on the Japanese Forward Base at Diggers Camp.

The Papua infantry unit must keep their positions at Mission Ridge Hill until 13.00 and and then join the Australians in attacking the Japanese FOB.
