Second Battle of Fallujah, (November 7–December 23, 2004), was a joint operation American, Iraqi, and British military campaign during the Iraq War that crushed the Islamic insurgents in Fallujah, Iraq, in the Sunni Muslim province of Al-Anbar. After the first Battle of Fallujah (April 4–May 1, 2004) left resistance fighters and foreign Muslim extremists in control of the city, the U.S.-led coalition decided to mount in November a follow-up campaign to retake the city to prevent a further spreading of the armed opposition to the U.S.-occupation of Iraq.

Before beginning their attack, U.S. and British forces had established checkpoints around the city to prevent anyone from entering, and to intercept insurgents attempting to flee. In addition, overhead imagery was used to prepare maps of the city for use by the attackers. American units were augmented by Iraqi interpreters to assist them in the planned fight. After weeks of withstanding airstrikes and artillery bombardment, the militants in the city appeared to be vulnerable to direct attack.

Last night, British SAS wreaked havoc by killing several leaders and destroying some ammunition depots. Most managed to escape but two Teams have been cut off in the central districts and are fighting for their lives. The Objective is to find them and help them escape with us after we first find and execute Omar Hadid the Commander of Insurgents Forces.

There are many improvised explosive devices in the area as well as possible suicide bombers.
