Separatist Russian forces are attempting to start a third world war without the knowledge of the Kremlin.
A rogue VDV commander and his battalion of loyal troops stationed in Байдуково (Baidukovo, an island in the sea of Okhotsk) are planning to launch Surface to Ship Missiles (SSMs) at a US carrier group returning to Alaska after a deployment to the Philippines.
The US carrier group will come into range in 6 hours, without time to seek congressional approval or notify the Kremlin, a company strength deniable operations team largely consisting of members of the elite 7th special forces group of the US Army has been dropped into a small neighboring island under the cover of darkness.
The company must assault Baidukovo and destroy the launch sites as quickly as possible and must capture the commander of the separatists alive so that he may be used as evidence when the Kremlin starts asking why US troops attacked a missile base on Russian territory.
