In the midst of the challenging mission during the Siege of Odessa in August 1941, our esteemed unit, the 198th Infantry Division, German Company, stands at the forefront on the outskirts of Odessa. Our company is equipped with formidable assets, including two Panzer IV tanks and one StuG assault gun, supplemented by aerial support from Stuka dive bombers. With this firepower at our disposal, we are poised to execute our objectives with precision and determination.
Our first objective is to capture the crossroads leading to Odessa, a crucial chokepoint that will enable our forces to advance further.
Once secured, we will turn our attention to capturing the enemy's rear command post, disrupting their leadership and communications.
Finally, our ultimate objective is to capture the blocking position that guards the approach to Odessa.
By achieving these objectives, we will open a clear path to the city, bringing us closer to the perfect siege.
