Operation Hardtack 15 is a fictional scenario based on previous raids against Sark Island as well as other commando operations during the Second World War.

Operation Hardtack itself was a series of sustained commando raids through the Channel Island and France through December of 1943. These raids largely aimed to capture high value prisoners, such as officers, radio operators and other specialists as well as perform reconnaissance against German defences in preparation for Allied landings on France. Operation Hardtack was ultimately ended due to a number of failed raids as well as an increase in German reinforcements in response to the raids.

No. 12 Commando Battalion has been issued a number of objectives to be completed during the allotted execution time with the purpose of intelligence gathering, eliminating the islands garrison and rescuing prisoners being held of the island. These can be completed in any order and are as follows.

1. Destroy Aircraft on Airfield
2. Destroy Ammunition Trucks at Depot
3. Destroy Anti-Aircraft Cannons
4. Destroy Coastal Defence Cannons
5. Seize Intelligence from Radio Station
6. Eliminate Oberleutnant Stefan Herdt
7. Eliminate Garrison at Dixcart Hotel
8. Seize Control of Sark Port
9. Release Prisoners held in Little Sark

Operation start time is 05:15. Raiding forces have an estimated 2 hour and 30 minute window to complete as many objectives as possible before the German response force reaches Sark.
