Jihadist forces have assumed control over the region of North Takistan, with the aid of a supportive local populace. During this take-over, a wanted terrorist “al-Zawahiri” ordered the capture of western oil workers to be executed on livestream. Elite US special forces have been deployed to bring the workers home, and eliminate al-Zawahiri.
US Forces will deploy via Osprey from a nearby Wasp-class LHD, armed with cutting edge weaponry and equipment. SEAL team are already in the AO, having been tasked to conduct recon prior to the mission, and with killing power to the area to allow the main force to land troops unopposed.
Friendly forces should expect to encounter enemy forces that are well trained, well equipped, and in high moral. Enemy forces consist of militia formed from a mixture of rural workers and ex-Afghan army trained personnel armed with Soviet era weaponry. Plus a smaller contingent of al-Zawahiri's elite personal guard, trained in overseas training camps, and equipped with the best equipment money can buy.
