The British Commando unit No. 14 was sent to eliminate some of the remaining Nazi Loyalists lingering about months after Germany's surrender. One of their men, Fredrich Steiner, has contacted us willing to defect, promising us his knowledge on a compound, Compound N for the mission's purposes, that he has been working on. We don't know if he has realised that resistance is futile but he may prove an asset to the British Empire. We also got wind that there are Soviets cruising the atlantic ocean, they may or may not know about Steiner, but we have to be ready and get there before them.

The Canadians have performed initial scouting and prepared a somewhat bare SPOTREP. They have also informed us that there is a vehicle depot with some stored trucks and jeeps that were abandoned due to the end of the war.
