RATING:
Following the successful destabilization of Eastern Ukraine through proxy forces (DNR & LNR), the Kremlin has once again turned its gaze southward — towards the Caucasus. Georgia, still recovering from the 2008 war and diplomatically isolated, finds itself under immediate threat.
With its air force insufficient to counter a modern Russian offensive, Tbilisi quietly reached out to NATO. However, political sensitivities and fears of direct escalation prevent an open intervention. Instead, Aegis Dynamics, a covert CIA-backed Private Military Company, was rapidly created to serve as the "invisible hand" of NATO airpower in the region. Our pilots are deniable operators — officially civilians flying unmarked aircraft, disavowed by any state.
Our mission is clear: deny Russian forces control over Western Georgia, blunt their advance, and maintain a corridor for NATO arms shipments — all while keeping plausible deniability intact.
Operational Deployment
On the night of 9–10 May 2016, Aegis Dynamics air assets quietly deployed to Georgia.
We stationed fighter squadrons at:
● Batumi (F-16 / F-18)
● Tbilisi (F-15)
We were under the assumption that hostilities would ignite in a week. However, at dawn on 10 May, Russian forces launched a surprise invasion, catching Georgian defenses flat-footed and overwhelming positions on the western front.
Enemy Offensive
Russia's objective appears to be a rapid occupation of Western Georgia — cutting off land access for NATO support and seizing key airfields to reinforce via airlift.
Key Enemy Movements:
● Heliborne assault seized Senaki-Kolkhi airfield, with Russian VDV forces currently
securing and preparing the runway.
● Armoured spearhead breached Georgian lines at Patara Enguri River, capturing
Zugdidi, and is now advancing towards Senaki-Kolkhi to link up with VDV.
● Naval Task Force (4x Tarantul-class corvettes) is moving to neutralize the
Georgian Navy and enforce a maritime blockade, threatening Batumi.
Russian Air Operations:
● Il-76 transports detected moving towards Senaki-Kolkhi to paradrop additional
VDV units; secondary targets in the region are possible.
● A-50 Mainstay AWACS orbiting north of the frontlines, supported by MiG-31
interceptors and other CAP assets.
Integrated Air Defenses (IADS)
Russian IADS is formidable and layered, posing serious risks to air operations:
● Sukhumi-Babushara airfield is heavily defended by SA-6 launchers and mobile
SA-19s (Tunguskas).
● Gudauta airbase is protected by SA-10 Grumble (exact locations unknown), with
possible SA-11 Buk battalion maneuvering along the frontline — likely attached to
advancing armoured columns.
● Additional SPAAGs (Shilkas, Tunguskas) reported mobile with Russian ground
forces.
Friendly Situation
Our own forces are stretched thin:
● Limited SAM coverage (mostly short-range MANPADS and IR systems at Batumi,
Tbilisi, and Kobuleti)
● No AWACS or EWR support — our situational awareness is degraded relative to
Russian forces
● Limited A-A weapon stockpile
