Situation Update / Summary
Following the heavy Coalition strikes on inland airfields during Operation Furious Hammer, Iran has shifted its strategy to the maritime domain. Iranian Navy and IRGC forces are attempting to close the Strait of Hormuz by conducting aggressive mining operations, launching anti-ship missiles from the coast, and deploying swarms of small fast attack boats against international shipping. Multiple hostile surface groups have been detected attempting to interfere with oil tankers transiting the strait. Coalition command has ordered CSG-3 to enforce a strict blockade and protect the vital shipping lane. Mission Intent
Enforce the naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. Protect friendly tankers, prevent mining operations, and neutralize Iranian naval vessels and coastal threats attempting to disrupt maritime traffic. Maintain freedom of navigation through the strait.

Mission Tasks
Task 1 - Patrol & Interdiction
● Establish combat air patrols over the Strait of Hormuz and southern shipping lanes.
● Identify and intercept Iranian small fast attack boats and mining vessels.
Task 2 - Tanker Escort & Protection
● Provide close air support and overwatch for friendly merchant tankers transiting the
strait.
● Engage any hostile vessels or coastal-launched AShMs threatening the tankers.
Task 3 - Surface Strike
● Neutralize Iranian small fast attack boats, missile boats, and any vessels attempting
to lay mines using GBU-12s and Mavericks.
Task 4 - Counter-Threat
● Suppress coastal anti-ship missile sites firing on shipping lanes and prevent
mine-laying activities in the choke point.
