Situation Update / Summary
Donovian-backed insurgents have increased their activity in central Gorgas, particularly around the town of Gori. Friendly Gorgas forces are holding key positions but are under pressure from insurgent attacks, mortar fire, and light armored vehicles. CSG-1 has been tasked to provide on-call air support. We will maintain a patrol orbit and respond to tasking from friendly ground forces (JTAC) as the situation develops.

Mission Intent
Conduct armed overwatch and on-call Close Air Support (CAS) for friendly forces in and around Gori. Be ready to engage insurgents on short notice while minimizing collateral damage in the populated area. Maintain presence and respond dynamically to ground requests.

Mission Tasks
Task 1 - Combat Air Patrol
● Establish and maintain a patrol orbit near Gori at medium altitude. Monitor the area and stay ready for immediate tasking.
Task 2 - On-Call CAS
● Respond to JTAC tasking to engage enemy insurgents, technicals, mortar positions, and light armored vehicles. Use appropriate weapons (rockets, Mavericks, laser-guided bombs) for precision.
Task 3 - Recon & BDA
● Provide visual reconnaissance of the area and perform Battle Damage Assessment after strikes.

● Insurgent ground forces with small arms and MANPADS.
● Technicals (armed pickup trucks) and light armored vehicles.
● Mortar teams and possible anti-air positions.
● Possible Donovian “volunteers” mixed in.
