Situation Update / Summary
Following the successful opening strikes of Operation Epic Fury, Iranian forces have rapidly dispersed their remaining combat aircraft to inland airfields, including Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani Airport near Kerman. Intelligence confirms a large number of fighter and attack aircraft are currently parked in revetments and open ramps at Kerman airfield. The base is actively being used as a forward operating location to launch counter-air missions against Coalition forces.

Mission Intent
Conduct a long-range stand-off precision strike on Kerman Airfield using AGM-84Hn SLAM-ER missiles. Destroy high-value aircraft on the ground and degrade airfield infrastructure while remaining outside major SAM engagement zones. Utilize AWW-13 Datalink Pods for terminal guidance to achieve maximum accuracy

Mission Tasks
Task 1 — Stand-off SLAM-ER Strike
● Launch AGM-84H SLAM-ER missiles from maximum safe range against parked aircraft in revetments and open parking areas.
● Use aircraft equipped with AWW-13 Datalink Pods to provide man-in-the-loop terminal guidance. Task 2 — SEAD and BDA
● Suppress enemy air defense radars that activate during the attack
● Conduct post-strike reconnaissance passes using ATFLIR to assess damage and identify remaining threats.

Enemy Forces
● Parked fighter/attack aircraft (MiG-29, F-14, Su-24,Il-76 etc.) at Kerman Airfield
● Short-range air defenses (SA-8, AAA, MANPADS) around the airfield
● Early warning radar network and possible fighter CAP
Initially no enemy air activity is expected, enemy might launch fighters to intercept us if we are detected.
