SITUATION

3rd January 1945, Bure, Tellin Municipality, Belgium - Having left Resteigne that morning, the 13th (Lancashire) Parachute Battalion continues its advance on foot towards the German held village of Bure.

MISSION

'A' Coy has been assigned the task of capturing the village of BURE. BURE must then be held against a likely counterattack by German mechanised forces until relieved by reinforcements of the 29th Armoured Brigade.  

PHASE ONE

'A' Coy must first capture the outlying German defensive positions on the approaches to the village. Capturing these positions will open the main road to the village. 

PHASE TWO

Following on from the capture of the main route into the village, 'A' Coy will then begin the advance into the village itself, aiming to secure a foothold on its Southern and Western most areas. Once the Company has acheived this, secured their positions and reorganised, it can continue the advance into the village.

PHASE THREE

Finally, with a firm foothold in the village, 'A' Coy will attack the village proper from two axis of advance to overwelm the German defenders. Once the village has fallen to British forces, defensive positions must be prepared for the expected German counterattack to retake the village. 

MISSION PARAMETERS 

Players have three lives, two respawns, with respawn on team being enabled. Tanks respawn twice with a 5 minute timer in place.
